About Us

Michael Sobie and Dave Pepin are the founding members of CantorTracks.com as well as longtime colleagues and friends. Both are trained professional musicians who toured as keyboardists in hit Broadway pit orchestras such as Wicked, Rent, Aida and Xanadu. They have also served as Musical Directors and organists for churches around the country, for weddings and countless religious ceremonies. Their work as sought-after accompanists, traveling and working with hundreds of singers spawned the idea for a comprehensive website that will expand through all genres of music. Their simple philosophy is that everyone should have easy access to quality piano accompaniment. The design is not to replace the skilled and necessary chuch music directors and pianists around the country but to supplement them by making the full range of hymns and songs readily available through an easy to navigate, user-friendly website.
